Ah So!

Republicans have voted Rep. Elise Stefanik into House leadership, electing the ardent Trump defender and replacing deposed Rep. Liz Cheney’s opposition to the former White House resident. Stefanik, R-N.Y., a moderate turned Trump loyalist has given voice backing his false claims about election fraud. I’m constantly amazed how anyone can support the orange faced one. Perhaps it’s their belief that his “influence” can further their own careers.

“Our Country is broken, our elections are rigged, corrupt, and stolen, our prosecutors are politicized”.  A recent but so familiar quote from Trump. Yep, some things never change.

National Review senior writer Charles C.W. Cooke writes that Trump now believes that he will be returned to office this summer and also that two Democratic members of Congress will be replaced by the GOP personnel they previously defeated. Apparently, continued golfing under a steamy Mar a Lago sun must tend to promote delusion.

What show business legend began his show business career as a member of the Will Mastin

rio?  Answer at the end of this “masterpiece”.

Another unreasoning voice being heard once again.  Rudy Giuliani has endorsed My Pillow saying “I’ve been sleeping on My Pillows for some time,” Giuliani said on his “Common Sense” show, “I love them. Simply the very best pillows ever made”. No surprise as the pillow’s creator Mike Lindell has predicted that the Trump-ster will return to the White House by August. Yep, loons of a feather stick together.

Just when we need it tv turns its back. What passes for “prime time” programming is far from it featuring such pap as “Family Feud” on a daily basis. Hopefully, we can locate a few good books.

Senate leader Mitch McConnell states that any Biden nominee for the Supreme Court will be vetoed by his nibs, a life-long sponge of the electorate’s tax dollars.

Another Trump that defies logic, daughter in law Lara states that residents of the U.S. southern border “better arm up, get guns and be ready, maybe they’re going have to start taking matters into their own hands.”.

Now to conclude on a positive note, the answer to the previous question regarding the person who began his show biz career as a member of The Will Mastin Trio, it was the great Sammy Davis Jr. who performed with his father Sammy sr. and Uncle Will Mastin.
