Doings

Congrats to our new President! May he be successful in the hopes he expressed in his acceptance speech. This is a time for optimism and an escape from the negativity of the past four years.

Seems Rep. Andy Harris of Maryland attempted to enter Congress packing a gun.  Another “bright bulb” elected by the people Good grief!

Ah, news of the “fabled” Rudy Giuliani: A group of barristers has filed an ethics complaint against the former Trump lawyer calling on the state of New York to suspend his law license relating to his efforts to subvert the 2020 election and circulate lies from Trump causing extensive voter fraud

How good it was seeing Dr. Anthony Fauci  return,  not being censored and silenced by the previous administration. His knowledge and candor are gratefully needed by all of us.

The chaos left by the red tied one is seen on Time’s latest cover showing President Biden looking out a trashed Oval Office window, surrounded by flames .Graffiti is scrawled on a curtain and the Presidential Desk is buried under documents and fast food cartons. A telephone lies on the floor, near one of Trump’s signature red “Make America Great Again” caps along with a bullhorn. Well done, Time.

Yet more news of the “legendary”  Rudy Giuliani now being sued for $1.3 billon. Dominion Voting Systems has filed a lawsuit alleging Giuliani defamed them with constant lies about election fraud. Just where is the former N.Y. mayor these days? Perhaps hanging out at Mir a Lago as a caddy for old orange face.

The Washington Post says Trump made 30,573 false or misleading claims during his four years in office. Seems nearly half that total during his final year. Glenn Kessler’s column claims the red tied office holder went from six false claims a day during his initial year to 39 a day during his final 12 months in the Oval Office.

Two members of the Biden family just arrived at their new home, The White House, this past weekend. Champ and Major, a pair of German Shepherds seemingly have adapted well to their new digs. No surprise that the former chief exec was the first not to have a pet there in over a hundred years. Champ is 10, Major 3 and the first adopted shelter dog to take up residence there-
